Made in collaboration with Layla Mrozoski, A House to Call our House was an installation created at Portland’s Publication Studios in 2013. AHtcoH explored the nature of reality in an imagined fifth dimension: a kaleidoscope of images, banners, houseplants and gyrating bodies. This choreography of bodies and objects combined elements of dance, theater, and sculpture to create a living installation. Mrozoski and Calabrese choreographed and performed this work, as well as designing and building the sets and props.
